My road to floral design began after graduating from college with a degree in communications, when I started working for a marketing company. Six months in I realized I wasn’t meant for the marketing world and devised my grand plan and by grand plan I mean. 1) Apply for a job at the flower shop around the corner from my house. 2) Buy a beach cruiser with a basket so that I could take home fresh flowers everyday from work. It wasn't well thought out but after my boss handed me the keys without any direction and through a lot of trial and error, I realized that floral design was what I loved doing and I had found something that I was really good at. After gathering experience working for other companies, in 2007 I decided it was time to branch out on my own and open a store. Adaptation is the reflection of my varying taste and eclectic style. I love that the shop is always evolving and I’m constantly inspired by the different projects, challenges and weddings that are presented to me. There is nothing more fun than being able to craft a look that perfectly fits someone’s style. I honestly can't imagine doing anything else.
